Working with the NHS has many complications in terms of the client requirement, the need to be unobtrusive for the patients and all the while ensuring the public’s safety as well as the work force.
We have a completed NHS contracts with recent works with Watford General Hospital, Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Milton Keynes University Hospital, Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust
We were set the challenge by the Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust you to replace several roofs in a busy working emergency care and neo-natal hospital with minimal disruption to patients, visitors, and staff over a phased 3 year period
The project was mini tendered via the LHC RS4 Framework utilising a 30-year Langley waterproofing system.
We are successfully completing year 2 of a 3-year contract with a full time CWG Project Team to manage the complexities and a team of CWG specialist contractors to complete the installation of over 3,400 solar PV panels and 18,000m2 of roofing work.
To date the solar PV installation has generated savings in excess of over £200,000.
