Scope of Works:
- Renewal of Existing Roof Coverings With a new Langley Roof system incorporating Tapered Insulation, circa 2500m2
- Installation of New Langley Rooflights
- Removal of ACM to fascia’s
- Installation of New facias
- Installation of new external lighting
- Installation of new underground drainage
- Installation of new roof drainage including all internal pipe works
- Removal and re-instatement of AC Units
- Installation of new Cedral cladding
- Aluminium windows and door installs
Key Challenges:
The key challenges on this project revolved around the sequence of works, material deliveries, waste removal and health and safety procedures. The works were programmed to ensure key scaffolding erection was undertaken during half term or at weekends. The logistics of transportation and waste management were also key to ensure just in time deliveries and waste disposal to ensure disruption was minimal.
